A McLaren M838T 3.8-litre V8 win turbo engine producing 616 bhp and 443 lb-ft is used for the MP4-12c. You heard that right, 616 bhp from a 3.8 liter engine! 0-100 mph in 3.1 seconds and 0 - 200 in 8.9 seconds. Quite amazing stuff..!
